Job Description

The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, located in Savannah, Georgia, is a prestigious full-service resort that offers guests an unparalleled blend of luxury, comfort, and wellness-focused amenities. Known for its exceptional service and beautiful location along the Savannah River, this resort is a key part of the Marriott International portfolio, a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry renowned for its commitment to quality, diversity, and guest satisfaction. As part of the Marriott family, The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa prides itself on creating an environment where both guests and employees can thrive and feel valued. This full-time, non-management position is based on-site at the resort, emphasizing direct interaction with guests and contributing to a seamless and enjoyable visitor experience.

This particular role focuses on supporting guest services operations within the rooms department. The position is essential in maintaining the communication flow and ensuring that guest requests are promptly and efficiently fulfilled. Responsibilities include testing beepers and radios to ensure that communications equipment functions properly, which supports the smooth internal coordination necessary in a busy resort setting. This role also involves delivering requested items such as rollaway beds, refrigerators, towels, bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries directly to guest rooms, thereby enhancing guest comfort and satisfaction.

Moreover, the position entails handling various deliveries including messages, mail, faxes, packages, flowers, sundry items, and gift items. Often, this role may extend to delivering food, beverages, or other amenities and assembling orders destined to-go, reflecting the dynamic and multifaceted nature of guest services in a top-tier resort environment. Beyond the operational duties, the position requires adherence to company policies, maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality, and contributing to a positive team environment that supports common goals.

The ideal candidate embodies the Westin brand’s commitment to wellness and exceptional service. They are expected to greet guests warmly, anticipate and address their needs proactively, assist guests with disabilities, and communicate clearly and professionally. Physical demands include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move and lift objects up to 50 pounds, and navigate confined spaces and multiple levels within the resort. This role is well suited for individuals who are motivated by helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about wellness and hospitality.

At Westin, associates are encouraged to embrace wellness practices both on and off the property, aligning personal well-being with the brand’s mission to empower guests to be the best versions of themselves while traveling. The work environment fosters respect, inclusiveness, and appreciation for diverse backgrounds and experiences, making it an enriching place to build a meaningful career. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a recognized global brand dedicated not only to luxury travel but also to creating life-enhancing experiences for both guests and team members alike.
