Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and climb stairs or service ramps
- ability to reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- commitment to follow company policies and maintain confidentiality
- strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- no related work experience required
- no supervisory experience
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
- basic knowledge of hospitality service standards
Job Duties
- Test beepers and radios to ensure communications equipment works properly
- place requested items such as rollaway beds and refrigerators in guest rooms
- deliver extra towels, bathrobes, and other items to guest rooms
- provide complimentary toiletries to guests such as toothpaste, razors, and shampoo
- deliver items including messages, mail, faxes, packages, flowers, sundry items, and gift items to guest rooms
- may deliver food, beverage, or other amenities and assemble orders to go
- follow all company policies and procedures and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
