The Overnight Task Team Outfitter role is a pivotal position within Bass Pro Shops' retail stores, focusing on behind-the-scenes tasks that enhance store operations and enable Sales Outfitters to dedicate their efforts to delivering legendary customer service and increasing sales. This role operates during overnight hours, focusing on non-selling activities such as replenishment, inventory support, pricing accuracy, and visual merchandising setup. This position is essential in maintaining the store’s appearance, stock levels, and overall functionality by handling tasks like folding, facing, repackaging, and planogram compliance. Outfitting the store overnight ensures that the sales floor is fully prepared and visually appealing for customers during business hours. The role requires proficiency with inventory tools such as System Two and RF/Gizmo devices, good communication skills for coordination with floor sales staff and leadership, and a willingness to work overnight shifts. The job offers hands-on work involving physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds and walking or standing for extended periods. Given this position's operational importance, it works under direct supervision with well-defined policies and limited scope for independent decision-making. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience are preferred.
