Job Requirements

  • Two years of college education or one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience or two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to complete job-required trainings and assessments successfully
  • For facilities selling firearms, completion of firearms-specific criminal background check and firearms authorized training as required
  • For facilities selling ammunition, possession of current state-issued certificate of eligibility if applicable
  • Commitment to a drug-free workplace and adherence to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of college education or equivalent retail and supervisory experience
  • Experience supervising five or more direct reports including performance management mentoring hiring and firing
  • Ability to implement business solutions and communicate objectives effectively
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence
  • Knowledge of budget management forecasting and profit loss evaluation
  • Experience promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with key stakeholders

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates
  • Tour stores and provide feedback using TourtoTeach
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology business initiatives and merchandising
  • Model exceptional customer service standards and support customer service initiatives
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements managing budgets and controlling expenses
  • Oversee merchandise presentation inventory flow and operational processes
  • Hire train and mentor hourly associates assign duties set clear expectations and promote a culture of belonging
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities develop relationships with key stakeholders support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful workplace that embraces diversity and promotes continuous learning
