Job Requirements
- Two years of college education or one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience or two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience
- Ability to complete job-required trainings and assessments successfully
- For facilities selling firearms, completion of firearms-specific criminal background check and firearms authorized training as required
- For facilities selling ammunition, possession of current state-issued certificate of eligibility if applicable
- Commitment to a drug-free workplace and adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Two years of college education or equivalent retail and supervisory experience
- Experience supervising five or more direct reports including performance management mentoring hiring and firing
- Ability to implement business solutions and communicate objectives effectively
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of budget management forecasting and profit loss evaluation
- Experience promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with key stakeholders
Job Duties
- Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates
- Tour stores and provide feedback using TourtoTeach
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology business initiatives and merchandising
- Model exceptional customer service standards and support customer service initiatives
- Drive financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements managing budgets and controlling expenses
- Oversee merchandise presentation inventory flow and operational processes
- Hire train and mentor hourly associates assign duties set clear expectations and promote a culture of belonging
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities develop relationships with key stakeholders support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity
- Foster an inclusive and respectful workplace that embraces diversity and promotes continuous learning
