Job Requirements
- 2 years of college or 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience or 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience
- Successful completion of firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training if applicable
- Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- Ability to foster a workplace culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging
- Availability to work within the designated store location
Job Qualifications
- 2 years of college or 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience or 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership preferred
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership preferred
- Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
- Ability to complete job-required trainings and assessments
Job Duties
- Lead and develop teams effectively through teaching and training
- Communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations and business initiatives
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards using the One Best Way service model
- Manage financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements and controlling expenses
- Oversee merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, and inventory flow
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates fostering a culture of belonging
- Ensure compliance with company policies and promote a high standard of ethics and integrity
