Job Requirements
- Two years of college or one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience or two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience
- Successful completion of firearms-specific criminal background check and firearms authorized training if applicable
- Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
- Compliance with company policies and commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- Ability to meet physical and operational demands of the role
Job Qualifications
- Two years of college or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience or two years of general work experience plus one year of supervisory experience
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership
- Experience supervising five or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze financial statements and manage budgets
Job Duties
- Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and providing feedback
- Tour and assess stores for operational improvements
- Communicate and collaborate with associates at all levels
- Model and enforce exceptional customer service standards
- Manage financial performance including budgeting and profit loss analysis
- Oversee merchandising, inventory flow, and seasonal transitions
- Hire, train, and mentor associates while promoting a culture of belonging
- Coordinate job-related activities and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold ethics and integrity
- Promote continuous learning and adaptability among team members
