As a Shuttle Driver at The Parking Spot, you will be a vital part of ensuring safe and courteous transportation for customers between parking facilities and the airport terminal. This full-time, overnight role requires a Class B license with a passenger endorsement and pays $19.42 per hour plus tips, with regular bonus opportunities. Shuttle Drivers represent the company’s brand and play a crucial role in maintaining positive guest relations through friendly and efficient service. Responsibilities encompass not only the safe transport of customers but also vehicle inspections, assisting with luggage, and cooperation with team members to optimize the guest experience. Job Requirements

  • class B license with passenger endorsement required
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school education or equivalent
  • ability to pass a physical required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
  • must maintain a satisfactory driving record according to company standards
  • ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • must have previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
  • must hold a CDL and any applicable licenses

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school education or equivalent
  • previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
  • currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the employee handbook
  • currently holds a CDL and any applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
  • able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records in compliance with DOT regulations
  • ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
  • perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
  • provide pleasant customer service
  • demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
  • cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
  • may cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
  • comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
  • perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management
