Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Minimum 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • Ability to work overnight shift
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and customer service principles
  • Ability to analyze financial data and implement improvements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in financial performance monitoring and reporting

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing execution of all room area operations including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve guest tracking and productivity goals
  • Monitor guest satisfaction results and develop action plans
  • Handle employee concerns and maintain professional workplace conduct
  • Communicate goals and updates to staff
  • Conduct one-to-one meetings with staff semiannually
  • Assist with scheduling against guest and occupancy goals
  • Perform hourly job functions and other duties as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and be readily available for guests
  • Ensure team members meet or exceed hospitality standards
  • Assist in performing annual quality audits
  • Oversee key control programs
  • Review financial and performance data to enhance productivity
  • Maximize department financial performance
  • Interview and assist in hiring decisions
  • Ensure thorough orientation of new staff
  • Solicit employee feedback and administer disciplinary procedures fairly
  • Recognize and celebrate team member contributions
