Job Description
The Arbors at Stoneham is a revered senior living community known for its commitment to nurturing a family-centered environment where residents are treated not just as individuals under care, but as members of an extended family. At The Arbors at Stoneham, our mission revolves around fostering a warm, safe, and welcoming space that champions dignity, respect, and kindness for every senior who calls our community home. Our dedicated team works tirelessly each day to uphold these values, ensuring our senior residents experience quality of life and compassionate support tailored to their unique needs and preferences. This establishment is distinguished by its personalized approach to senior care, ensuring that the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident are met with sincerity and professionalism.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated overnight Resident Care Aide (RCA) passionate about enriching the lives of seniors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a care-oriented environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, attentive assistance. As an RCA, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents through direct care and interaction, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity during overnight hours. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, dining, activities, and housekeeping, all while forming meaningful connections with residents, families, and care team members. This position calls for an individual who listens patiently, follows established procedures with meticulous attention to detail, and maintains a friendly and professional demeanor. Working as part of a collaborative team, the RCA helps sustain a calm, positive, and supportive atmosphere essential for resident well-being.
The role demands a balance of empathy and efficiency, enabling you to respond to emergencies promptly, manage self-administered medications properly, and communicate effectively with nursing staff and other team members. Additionally, your work significantly contributes to creating an environment where seniors feel valued and supported, encouraging their independence and enhancing their daily living experience. The Arbors at Stoneham values employees who are dependable, professional, and ready to take ownership of their duties, ensuring every resident’s needs are met with utmost care. Joining our team means becoming part of a culture that prizes collective ownership, trust, and meaningful connections. Not only will you be making a tangible difference in the lives of seniors, but you will also enjoy a supportive, family-like workplace culture with access to comprehensive employee benefits. This position offers the chance to grow professionally within a compassionate and respectful community setting, where your contributions are recognized and appreciated.
