Job Qualifications
- 1+ year of professional baking experience, preferably in bread, viennoiserie, or pastry production
- Strong understanding of baking processes, including proofing, fermentation, and lamination (preferred but not required)
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to take direction
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Prepare, proof, and bake pastries and viennoiseries according to recipes and production schedules
- Manage time effectively to ensure all baked goods are ready for delivery without compromising quality
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all products
- Operate baking equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
- Collaborate with fellow bakers and kitchen staff to meet daily production goals smoothly
