Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant industry or driving experience is a plus
  • Must be 19 years or older with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years
  • Must have excellent driving history
  • Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screenings
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift items off storage racks
  • Comfortable with walking and standing for long periods
  • Familiarity with technology and hand-held scanning devices

Job Duties

  • Safely drive and transport medical supplies, specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical records, x-rays, hospital supplies, and interoffice mail in a company vehicle
  • Load and unload vehicle with appropriate equipment
  • Operate hand-held scanning devices to track items
  • Observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules
  • Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle
  • Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients
  • Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture
