The Night Manager/Manager on Duty (MOD) role at the Royal Palm is critical to maintaining seamless operations. This position entails overseeing all daily operations within the rooms division and the food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, lounge, and room service. The MOD works closely with management colleagues to ensure a smooth-running operation and assists in coordinating and monitoring various facets of loss prevention across outlets. In addition to operational oversight, the MOD is responsible for preparing reports related to wages, payroll, revenue, budgeting, and employee scheduling. This role also involves assisting in menu planning and preparation, ensuring compliance with local liquor laws, health, and sanitary regulations. The Night Manager/MOD must be present on the floor to support staff and guests as needed, handle training and cross-training duties, address guest complaints effectively, and participate actively in meetings. This comprehensive role demands strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver an elevated hospitality experience at one of Miami Beach’s most prestigious hotels.

Job Requirements
- College education or equivalent
- Minimum two years departmental management experience
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws
- Experience handling cash
- Proficiency in English communication
- Computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Commitment to health and safety protocols

- College level reasoning, math, and language skills
- Two years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines
