Job Requirements

  • College education or equivalent
  • Minimum two years departmental management experience
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws
  • Experience handling cash
  • Proficiency in English communication
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Commitment to health and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • College level reasoning, math, and language skills
  • Two years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines
  • Time management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage and lead each department independently
  • Ability to comply with employment and innkeeper laws
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to maintain safety without posing threats

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operation of rooms and food and beverage outlets including restaurant, lounge, and room service
  • Work with other managers to ensure smooth running operation
  • Coordinate and monitor loss prevention efforts
  • Prepare reports including wage, payroll, revenue, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Assist in menu planning and preparation
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, health, and sanitary regulations
  • Work on floor to assist staff and customers
  • Conduct training and cross-training
  • Manage guest complaints
  • Attend meetings
