The role of Houseperson at Hilton is pivotal to maintaining the hotel's welcoming and pristine environment. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces through daily cleaning tasks like dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows, and emptying trash. Beyond cleaning, you will greet guests warmly, assist with room cleaning needs, and deliver requested items, ensuring every interaction contributes positively to the guest experience.
The role extends to managing housekeeping supplies by stocking and organizing supply rooms for efficient operations. Housepersons also undertake special projects such as deep cleaning tasks, including mattress flipping, furniture moving, and floor waxing. Additionally, you will play an essential role in property maintenance by identifying and reporting any repair needs or maintenance deficiencies to keep the hotel in excellent condition.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties including lifting and moving furniture
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Keep public areas spotless by maintaining cleanliness of designated areas including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces by performing daily cleaning tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, washing windows, and emptying trash
- Delight our guests by greeting them warmly, delivering requested items, and assisting with room cleaning as needed
- Manage supplies by stocking and organizing supply rooms to support efficient housekeeping operations
- Handle special projects by performing periodic deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors
- Support property maintenance by identifying and reporting any repair needs or maintenance deficiencies to ensure a well-kept property
