Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information to small groups and individuals
  • Basic math competency with money calculations
  • Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
  • Ability to drive cautiously and perform parallel parking
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and withstand weather conditions
  • Availability to work night shifts from 11:00pm to 7:00am

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must hold valid driver’s license for the state or nearby commuting area
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable parking rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Post in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before key issuance
  • Complete and maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
