Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license for the state applying to work or within commutable distance
- Minimum one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand time formats
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and handle physical demands of the role
- Willingness to work overnight shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license applicable to the work location
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to understand and use 24 hour and military time formats
- Ability to understand rates based on time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using last names and appropriate salutations
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly
- Assist guests with luggage including delivery and pick up
- Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations and information about the facility and local attractions
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
- Shuttle guests to approved locations as required
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities upon request
