The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is a vital position that combines excellent customer service with operational efficiency. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with a work schedule that includes the late evening to early morning shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The compensation package is competitive, featuring an hourly base pay starting at $14.25 per hour supplemented by tips ranging from $16 to $19 per hour, reflecting the appreciation for dedicated service. As a Guest Service Associate, individuals are responsible for providing exceptional hospitality to all guests in a pleasant and professional manner. Key duties include parking and retrieving vehicles safely and efficiently, assisting guests with luggage, and supporting them with directions, reservations, and general inquiries. The role demands strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with a positive attitude. Associates will greet guests warmly within five feet, use appropriate salutations and guest names, manage parking tickets and key tags accurately, and ensure that guests understand parking rates and retrieval procedures. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state applying to work or within commutable distance
  • Minimum one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand time formats
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and handle physical demands of the role
  • Willingness to work overnight shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license applicable to the work location
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to understand and use 24 hour and military time formats
  • Ability to understand rates based on time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet using last names and appropriate salutations
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly
  • Assist guests with luggage including delivery and pick up
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations and information about the facility and local attractions
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations as required
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities upon request
