Job Description
Omni Hotels & Resorts is a distinguished hotel brand renowned for its commitment to offering exceptional hospitality experiences across the United States and Canada. Known for blending luxury with authentic local culture, Omni Hotels & Resorts endeavors to create unique environments that reflect the history and character of each destination. The Omni Louisville stands as a prime example of this philosophy, situated in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky. This hotel not only serves as a prestigious accommodation option but also acts as a vibrant urban hub that connects guests, residents, and locals in a dynamic mixed-use environment. With 612 rooms, the hotel is a distinguished landmark visible throughout the Louisville skyline, showcasing iconic glass architecture that glows brilliantly at night. The Omni Louisville seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor experiences, offering guests leisure spaces such as a pool and rooftop bar overlooking downtown Louisville. The hotel experience is deeply infused with elements of Louisville's rich history and culture, showcased through its unique design features, dining options, and a bourbon bar that pays homage to the region’s heritage. Guests can delight in a dynamic 20,000 square foot urban food hall and market, situated adjacent to the hotel lobby. This market enhances the community feel of the neighborhood, serving fresh coffees, baked goods, and smoked barbecue, and transforming Liberty Street into a lively pedestrian area popular with both locals and visitors alike. The Omni Louisville combines comfort, culture, and community into an unforgettable stay for all who visit.
The Overnight Manager role at Omni Louisville is an essential position critical to ensuring smooth operations throughout the night shift. This role demands a proactive and seasoned hospitality professional who will supervise and support all overnight operations within the hotel. The Overnight Manager will oversee staff performance, coordinate with multiple department leaders including Front Office Operations, Loss Prevention, Housekeeping, and Rooms to maintain the highest standards of service and operational efficiency as dictated by Omni Hotels & Resorts policies. Responsibility for guest satisfaction during overnight hours, including prompt resolution of complaints and oversight of night audits at the front desk, falls under this role’s remit. The manager is also tasked with conducting training sessions that maintain team proficiency in hotel operations and customer service excellence aligned with Omni’s high standards. A critical aspect of the job includes maintaining communication with management teams, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, inventory management, and preparing for the forthcoming day’s operations with assigned arrivals and group checkouts. Working overnight requires a flexible, calm, and professional approach to handling emergencies and dynamic guest needs. At Omni Louisville, the Overnight Manager role not only contributes to operational functionality but also enhances the guest experience during hours less traveled, ensuring that both staff and visitors feel supported and valued through the night. This role is on-site in Louisville, KY, and offers a range of comprehensive benefits designed to support employees’ health, financial security, and well-being, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, company matched 401(k) plans, and additional voluntary benefits and employee perks.
