Job Requirements
- Must be STAR certified
- must be Food Handler certified
- minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a hotel
- at least 1 year of front office or guest service experience or completion of the Omni LID program
- previous cash handling experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- strong leadership and team development abilities
- proficiency with hotel computer systems (OPERA preferred)
- ability to manage multiple tasks
- physical capability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods
- ability to respond to changing guest or operational needs with flexibility
- must handle stressful situations with professionalism
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a hotel
- at least 1 year of front office or guest service experience or completion of the Omni LID program
- previous experience in cash handling
- strong leadership skills capable of developing and motivating a team
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues quickly
- strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure or emergency situations
- ability to work well under pressure managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- proficiency with hotel computer systems, OPERA experience preferred
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand or walk for long periods and perform repetitive tasks including using telephone and computer
Job Duties
- Oversee overnight operations
- ensure all hotel departments (front office, housekeeping, security, etc.) meet Omni Standards during the overnight shift
- lead night audit process at the front desk
- perform and assist with night audit functions
- complete and forward required paperwork timely
- conduct training sessions for overnight staff on hotel operations and standards
- promptly handle and resolve guest complaints maintaining high guest satisfaction
- troubleshoot and train staff on hotel computer systems ensuring proper operation
- ensure adherence to hotel and departmental policies including safety protocols
- maintain communication with department managers and provide feedback on staff performance including disciplinary matters
- conduct weekly supply inventories and complete rate discrepancy reports
- block and assign arrivals for the next day including VIP and special requests
- prepare group information sheets and perform check-outs with balance reports
- ensure compliance with fire, security, and safety procedures
- collaborate with Loyalty Ambassador to track and service select guests
- perform other duties as assigned by management
