Job Description
Travel + Leisure Co. is recognized as the world’s leading vacation ownership and travel membership company. With a robust and expanding portfolio of resorts, travel clubs, and lifestyle travel brands, the company serves millions of travelers worldwide by offering unforgettable vacation experiences. The company prides itself on its core mission: to put the world on vacation. This mission reflects the company’s dedication to innovation, dynamic growth, and a commitment to providing enriching and enjoyable vacation experiences to its diverse clientele. Travel + Leisure Co. is known for fostering a workplace environment where creativity, learning, and fun are integral parts of daily work life, ensuring that its associates not only grow professionally but also contribute to memorable guest experiences.
The current opportunity is for the role of Guest Services Associate at two esteemed resort locations: WorldMark Kingstown Reef Resort and Club Wyndham Cypress Palms Resort. This position involves working the third shift, typically from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, totaling 32-40 hours per week, with a schedule that includes two days at each resort—Monday and Tuesday at Cypress Palms, and Saturday and Sunday at Kingstown Reef—with an option for an additional day at Kingstown Reef. The offered hourly wage for this position is $18, making it a competitive role for individuals seeking part-time or full-time work during non-traditional hours.
In this role, the Guest Services Associate will play a pivotal role in enhancing guest satisfaction by delivering warm, friendly service that begins at check-in and continues through to check-out. The position requires a cordial, professional demeanor and the ability to provide detailed information about the resorts and local attractions, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests. Responsibilities also include handling room rate quotes, confirming reservations, processing payments, and addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working at both locations provides the associate with a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse and international guest base across two popular Florida resorts—one located at 12000 International Drive, Orlando, FL, and the other at 5324 Fairfield Lake Drive, Kissimmee, FL. This dual-resort interaction enhances the associate’s role, requiring excellent customer service capabilities and adaptability to different resort environments. The schedule offers some flexibility, which can be advantageous for individuals balancing other commitments.
Travel + Leisure Co. values the contributions of its employees and provides a comprehensive benefits package for associates working 30 or more hours per week. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; flexible spending accounts; life and accident insurance; disability coverage; paid time off and parental leave for eligible employees; volunteer wish days; 401k plans with employer matching; legal and identity theft protection; and wellness programs. Seasonal or temporary associates should note that paid time off may not be available.
At Travel + Leisure Co., hospitality is more than a job—it's a culture. The company is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable work environment where every team member’s contributions are valued. Employees are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and take pride in the memorable moments they help create for guests. The company is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to diversity and inclusion, and provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities upon request. This career opportunity invites individuals eager to join a global team focused on building memorable experiences and turning vacation dreams into reality.
