The Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero is currently looking for an Overnight Front Desk Receptionist to join its dedicated team. This role is critical in representing the hotel's brand and ensuring smooth operations during the overnight shift. The Overnight Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, handling financial transactions, and addressing guest inquiries with warmth and professionalism. Job Requirements
- Previous luxury hotel front desk experience preferred
- excellent customer service and guest contact skills
- outgoing and enjoys helping others
- degree in hospitality or similar preferred
- ability to quickly and positively establish rapport
- above average communication skills
- ability to work in a high volume operation
- ability to multi-task and complete tasks by deadlines
- ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous luxury hotel front desk experience preferred
- must have excellent customer service and guest contact skills
- ideal candidates will be outgoing and enjoy helping others
- candidates with a degree in hospitality or similar are preferred
- ability to quickly and positively establish rapport is required
- above average communication skills, both written and oral, are required
- current Four Seasons employees, bilingual candidates, and those with prior experience in a luxury hotel environment will receive priority consideration
- you must possess the ability to work in a high volume operation
- you must also be able to multi-task and complete tasks by established deadlines
- you must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
Job Duties
- Checks in guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible
- assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged
- arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room
- issues correct keys to the guest
- ensure revenue is maximized by upselling guest rooms based on availability
- checks out guest at end of stay
- ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest
- settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction
- maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel
- makes change, cashes checks, and exchanges foreign currency
- reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift
- handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
- resolves customer complaints
- assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services
- responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner
