The role of an Overnight Front Office Host at Hyatt Regency Columbus is a vital position responsible for maintaining the high standard of guest service expected at a luxury hotel. This position oversees specific night audit duties, including the critical task of checking and correcting the hotel’s guest ledger to ensure accuracy in billing and payments. Key responsibilities include verifying all cash, check, or credit card payments have been collected properly and engaging in essential front desk activities such as guest check-in and check-out procedures. The host will be expected to collect payments and proper identification, suggest room upgrades, and provide guests with informative responses to their inquiries, enhancing their overall experience through personalized service.
