The position available is for a Medium to Heavy-Duty Truck Technician, a vital role responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This full-time role offers hourly pay up to $28 per hour, depending on experience, with additional pay incentives for CDL license holders. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 pm to 6:30 am, with no weekend shifts. A generous sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available, alongside an annual tool allowance of $1,000 and an annual safety boot allowance.

In this role, the technician will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, refrigeration units, and converter dollies, operating with minimal supervision. The role requires diligent adherence to all applicable State and Federal trucking regulations, ensuring every piece of equipment is safe and roadworthy. Technicians must maintain meticulous documentation of all repairs and work orders using an online Enterprise Asset Management system. Road call service assignments are also part of the job, requiring quick, efficient responses to equipment issues in the field.

Key responsibilities include completing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, lubrication, and inspections of brake systems, steering components, and wheel bearings. The role also involves installing and repairing onboard computer systems and diagnosing electrical issues using computerized diagnostic tools. The position demands proficiency with various hand tools and power tools, including pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists.

Candidates for this role should have a High School Diploma or GED, complemented by at least two years of proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair. Expertise in preventative maintenance, tire and wheel service, air and air disc brake maintenance, diagnostic work, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and experience with air conditioning refrigeration systems is essential. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to communicate professionally with team members to ensure the highest standards of repair and maintenance are upheld consistently.
