The Overnight Cook position at Four Seasons in Scottsdale is an integral role responsible for maintaining the seamless operation of the kitchen during late-night and early-morning hours. This role demands an individual who can bring energy, accuracy, and a strong work ethic to prepare high-quality dishes that meet the hotel’s rigorous standards. The Overnight Cook plays a key role in supporting ongoing food preparation and service, ensuring that every dish is presented with precision and care. This includes managing prep work, cooking, and cleanup duties, all while adhering strictly to food safety and cleanliness protocols. The successful candidate will work independently with confidence, setting the pace for the kitchen’s operations and helping create a smooth transition for the daytime team.

The position is full-time with scheduled shifts from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, requiring flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Candidates must possess valid work authorization for the U.S. and should be prepared for the physical demands of standing or walking for up to eight hours per shift and lifting up to 50 pounds. Previous experience as a cook or line cook, along with knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards, will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or line cook preferred
- knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production needs
- set up stock and break down assigned cooking stations for overnight service
- complete overnight prep tasks including proteins, vegetables, sauces and batch items for upcoming shifts
- maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices at all times
- monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation during overnight service
- clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas throughout the shift
- follow all health department safety and company policies
- communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory shortages, equipment issues, and overnight needs
- support morning transition by ensuring stations are organized, labeled, and ready for opening staff
