The Cook II position at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is a crucial role within the culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items that meet the brand’s rigorous standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of hands-on culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Intermediate culinary knowledge with strong knife skills
- Proven ability to safely operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation standards, and teamwork

- Minimum of three years of hands-on culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Intermediate culinary knowledge with strong knife skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Proven ability to safely operate and clean a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation standards, and teamwork
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items across all kitchen stations including grill, sauté, and cold line following established recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Execute mise en place and station set-up for service periods while ensuring proper cooking temperatures for meats and seafood
- Prepare food items in advance as required accurately scaling recipes and preventing overproduction or waste
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, mixers, slicers, steamers, flat top grills, and other culinary tools
- Label, date, store, and rotate food products in accordance with food safety policies and temperature controls
- Monitor pars and identify potential shortages
- Work collaboratively and professionally with culinary leadership and team members while adhering to all Four Seasons workplace policies and standards
