The Concierge position at Grand Living is a vital role within the community, focused on enriching the overall resident experience. As the first point of contact, the Concierge embodies The Sterling Touch® philosophy, responding to resident and guest needs with courtesy, professionalism, and a warm, helpful attitude. This part-time role requires weekend overnight availability, making it essential for candidates to be adaptable while maintaining a consistently high level of service. Responsibilities include managing a variety of clerical duties, coordinating community activities, facilitating communications, accepting and directing phone calls, distributing correspondence, and welcoming visitors, guests, residents, and team members. Working under the guidance of the Business Office Manager, the Concierge adheres to the community’s standards and operational procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience in senior housing preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull continuously
- Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to push or pull carts up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience preferred, especially in senior housing
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Proficient in handling multiple tasks and managing requests efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and remain active throughout the shift
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests
- Handle clerical tasks including correspondence distribution and telephone management
- Coordinate community activities and events
- Provide timely, courteous, and professional assistance in accordance with The Sterling Touch® philosophy
- Interact effectively with residents, visitors, family members, and team members
- Support administrative functions under the direction of the Business Office Manager
- Maintain a welcoming and organized environment
