We are currently seeking a motivated and friendly Overnight Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This dual role is essential to our store's operation during overnight hours, combining customer service and inventory management responsibilities. As an Overnight Cashier/Stocker, you will be responsible for operating the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions, providing excellent service by greeting customers, answering questions, assisting with product choices, and engaging in upselling techniques to improve sales. Additionally, you will be tasked with stocking shelves, maintaining organization, and ensuring that inventory is properly rotated and replenished throughout your shift. Handling cash transactions responsibly with accuracy will also be a key part of your duties. This position requires someone who is comfortable working overnight shifts, can maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, and is capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights as needed. Working in this role contributes significantly to the smooth operation of the store and enhances customer satisfaction during overnight hours. Employment is available on both a full-time and part-time basis with pay starting from $11.00 per hour. Job Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Operate the point of sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom
Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper placement and rotation of inventory
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items as needed
Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store
