Job Requirements
- treat clients with dignity and respect
- weekend availability if applicable
- effective communication skills
- valid driver's license and auto insurance if applicable
- compliance with State of Texas regulations
- pass DMV check
- pass drug screening
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- compassionate and patient attitude
- basic knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia care is a plus
Job Duties
- provide companionship and engage in light housekeeping
- prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
- remind clients to take medications on schedule
- run errands and provide transportation to appointments
- assist with activities of daily living
- offer specialized care for clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia
- maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients and family members
