As a nonprofit organization, ResCare is deeply committed to offering person-centered services that foster skill-building, help individuals overcome challenges, and enable them to realize their full potential. The organization is recognized for its compassionate approach, experienced staff, and dedication to enhancing the quality of life for the people it serves.
Sevita, the parent company, is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized healthcare, with over 40,000 team members serving approximately 50,000 individuals nationwide. Sevita's mission is to help people achieve fuller, more independent lives through innovative and individualized supports tailored to meet diverse physical, intellectual, and behavioral needs. The company promotes inclusivity and equal opportunity in employment, ensuring a fair, supportive, and non-discriminatory workplace environment.
This full-time caregiver position is based in Plano, TX, with working hours from Friday through Sunday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The job involves directly supporting individuals with daily living tasks, personal hygiene, and behavioral challenges while promoting participant independence and community involvement. Caregivers at Sevita enjoy meaningful work that allows them to build genuine relationships, work with trust and autonomy, and support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
The role offers competitive pay with convenient pay on demand options and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including paid time off, holiday pay, 401(k) with company match, and access to supportive supervisors. Sevita invests in employee development by providing ongoing training and learning opportunities to help caregivers grow within their careers. Hiring caregivers with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving history without restrictions ensures safety and reliability when assisting participants in the community.
Caregivers who join Sevita become part of a compassionate team that values responsibility, reliability, patience, and adaptability. This role is ideal for those who find fulfillment in helping others, enjoy teamwork, and are motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Sevita’s respected reputation and stable work environment provide job security and growth prospects for dedicated caregivers eager to pursue a rewarding career in human services.
