Job Requirements

  • Ability to work overnight shifts from 9 pm to 5 am, including at least one weekend shift per weekend
  • Physical ability to lift, push, grasp, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for long periods up to 8 hours
  • Willingness to comply with cleanliness and sanitation standards per FDA guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and productivity under federal, state, and local standards
  • Must be legally eligible to work
  • Team player with a strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in bakery production, banquet or restaurant kitchen preferred but not required
  • Desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
  • Passion for cooking with keen eye for freshness, quality, and cleanliness
  • Appetite for learning and enthusiasm for pastries, cakes, and confections
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills a plus
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts including weekends

Job Duties

  • Identify and select ingredients to follow recipes
  • Scale given recipes to match production needs
  • Sheeting, shaping, and preparing doughs in a modern-manufacturing environment
  • Building composed desserts
  • Making housemade jams, fillings, mousses, etc.
  • Topping, finishing, and decorating desserts
  • Adhere to cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
