Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move about non hard surfaces frequently
- Capability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push, and stoop as needed
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Willingness to lift and move heavy or awkward objects with assistance
- Ability to work in indoor environments with temperature extremes
- Willingness to be exposed to cleaning agents
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production chart recommendations
- Maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members
- Take special orders from members
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special orders or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and product freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely
- Maintain adherence to club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
