The Stocking Associate position at Meijer plays a critical role in ensuring the store’s shelves are well-stocked and organized, directly impacting customer satisfaction and overall store operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Previous retail or stocking experience preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy

Job Qualifications

  • Adequate knowledge of computer systems and comfort using them
  • Ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way
  • Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb boxes
  • Knowledge of forklift and pallet jack operation is a plus

Job Duties

  • Stock food shelves with a variety of products
  • Pull back stock and trash to the back room to the correct areas
  • Work with management to ensure correct areas are stocked in a timely fashion
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers
  • Work night shifts
