Job Description

Dunkin' Donuts is the world’s leading baked goods and coffee chain, originally founded in 1950 by Bill Rosenberg in Quincy, Massachusetts. Since franchising its first store in 1955, the company has expanded globally, serving more than 3 million customers daily. Dunkin' Donuts offers a wide variety of products including 52 varieties of donuts, numerous coffee beverages, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and other baked goods. As a locally owned and operated Dunkin' Donuts franchise, our stores maintain a fast-paced, high-energy environment where customer interaction remains a priority. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction ensures we uphold the brand's strong reputation across all locations.

As a Bake Manager within our franchise, you will play a crucial leadership role overseeing the baking team to ensure operational excellence aligned with Dunkin' Donuts and LFO standards. Your responsibilities will include managing production quality, controlling costs, and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. This role requires not only operation oversight but active hands-on baking in your home store for at least five nights each week and conducting weekly inspections across other store locations to monitor standards and performance.

The Bake Manager position is ideal for a motivated individual with strong leadership qualities who strives to foster a quality-first culture, promote team growth, and drive profitability. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing your team, communicating clear job expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing necessary coaching. Operationally, you will ensure shifts are appropriately staffed, execute brand standards consistently, maintain a safe and healthy environment, and complete production and quality action plans to improve overall store performance.

Profitability is a key focus as well, where you will be tasked with controlling labor and waste costs, implementing marketing promotions, rolling out new products effectively, and tracking operational goals to maximize financial results. This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a high-volume setting, and the capacity to inspire and mentor bakers. A successful Bake Manager embraces problem-solving, demonstrates outstanding leadership, and exemplifies a role model conduct for all store employees.

This role also requires the ability to work overnight shifts regularly, with occasional daytime meetings. Having your own transportation is necessary to manage multi-store visits and inspections efficiently. Previous managerial experience in a restaurant or retail environment, along with financial management knowledge and math skills, will serve as strong assets. The position requires you to be at least 18 years old where applicable and possess fluency in English.

By joining our franchise team, you will be part of a supportive environment that values teamwork and operational excellence. You will contribute directly to delivering Dunkin' Donuts' exceptional products and customer experience while developing your leadership career within a globally recognized brand. This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in an established and growing business that prioritizes quality, safety, and customer satisfaction at every level.
