Job Description

Dunkin' Donuts, founded by Bill Rosenberg in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts, has grown to become one of the world's leading baked goods and coffee chains. Serving more than 3 million customers daily, Dunkin' Donuts offers a wide variety of products including 52 types of donuts, an extensive range of coffee beverages, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and other baked goods. Our operations are locally owned and operated franchises that bring a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere to their communities. Each franchise focuses on providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product quality, and sustaining a positive work culture. As part of the franchise system, our franchise operates independently, tailoring wages and benefits to meet the needs of our local team and business environment. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and dynamic workplace where team members have the opportunity to grow and succeed while interacting with loyal customers every day.

The Bake Manager role is a critical leadership position within the Dunkin' Donuts franchise. This role is designed for a dedicated individual who is committed to delivering operational excellence and driving the successful performance of our baking team. The Bake Manager is directly responsible for managing and leading the baking staff in alignment with Dunkin' Donuts standards, LFO standards, and compliance with all applicable safety and legal regulations. A key duty involves baking duties at the home store at least five nights a week, as well as conducting weekly inspections of other area stores to uphold quality and consistency.

The Bake Manager fosters a team environment by hiring, training, developing, and coaching employees, ensuring everyone understands their job expectations and is motivated to perform their best. Regular performance appraisals, feedback, and appropriate disciplinary actions fall under the leadership umbrella of this position. Operational excellence is emphasized through a commitment to safety, sanitation, and brand standards while maintaining a quality-first culture across the bakery operations. This role also demands strong focus on profitability by controlling costs, executing marketing promotions, managing labor and waste goals, and driving new product rollouts with comprehensive team training.

Ideal candidates bring a blend of leadership skills, financial acumen, and hands-on baking experience. Previous managerial experience is preferred but not mandatory, while the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates must exhibit strong communication skills, be proactive problem-solvers, and serve as role models within the workplace. Transportation independence is a requirement to ensure mobility for store visits and operational needs.

The Bake Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and elevate a passionate baking team within a well-established brand. This role is perfect for individuals looking to advance their management careers in a supportive and growth-focused company culture. Joining our team means engaging with a customer-centric business philosophy where quality, efficiency, and team collaboration are highly valued. We encourage motivated individuals who align with our standards and values to apply and become integral contributors to our franchise's ongoing success.
