Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in hotel management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to lead and influence team members
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts
  • willingness to perform front desk duties as needed
  • compliance with loss prevention policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in guest services or related area
  • or 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to handle guest complaints and disputes
  • experience supporting team operations and training
  • knowledge of front office operations including bell staff, switchboard and concierge
  • ability to mentor, coach and provide feedback to staff

Job Duties

  • lead and influence front desk team using strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • support all areas of the front office in absence of managers
  • handle guest complaints and disputes effectively
  • participate in department meetings and communicate front desk goals
  • support training on credit policies and revenue maximization
  • perform front desk duties as necessary
