This job offers a great pay-per-mile compensation structure, ensuring competitive earning potential for the right candidate. The role provides know-before-you-go routes, allowing drivers more home time and eliminating the guesswork often associated with freight routes. Equipment includes newer trucks fitted with comfortable sleeper-cab accommodations, designed with the driver's comfort in mind. These sleeper cabs come fully equipped with amenities such as XM Radio, microwaves, and refrigerators. As an added incentive, Shamrock Foods offers award-winning benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) savings plan, profit sharing, and more.

The position available is a Regional Truck Driver role focused on delivering refrigerated products outside of Arizona, primarily transporting milk products from company warehouses or depots to customers, and subsequently picking up loads for return trips to Phoenix. This is a scheduled, predictable position where all deliveries and pickups are pre-arranged before departure, meaning there is no need to search for freight or uncertain destinations. The job requires proficient operation of tractor-trailers and compliance with federal motor carrier safety regulations. Drivers are expected to perform daily inspections on their trucks, maintain computerized logs, and manage all required paperwork related to deliveries. The role involves working flexible hours, including possible overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, with work hours up to the legal limits allowed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. This role not only offers steady work but also supports a stable work-life balance with significant home time compared to other driving positions.
