Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • One or more years of production experience as a helper
  • Minimum three years of experience as an oven operator
  • Working knowledge of proofer procedures
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and record necessary job information
  • Demonstrated competency in on-the-job activities affecting product safety, legality, and quality

Job Duties

  • Prepares proofer by setting humidity and temperature level and proofing time
  • Prepares oven by setting temperature and speed controls
  • Sets up equipment to ensure pan and product flow
  • Checks proofed dough to ensure proper rising and makes necessary adjustments
  • Monitors operation of proof box and oven and auxiliary equipment to ensure proper proof and bake
  • Detects and corrects equipment malfunctions
  • Practices and complies with all company policies and procedures including safety and work rules
