The role focuses on maintaining the highest standards in the protein and salt production processes, emphasizing food safety, quality, and compliance with internal specifications and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include documenting critical cook and chill data for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) adherence, quality verification of ingredients, and supporting other positions within the Oven department as backups. Candidates will be expected to follow all company safety policies including Lock Out Tag Out procedures, manage housekeeping tasks, and ensure all products meet stringent quality control guidelines. The job requires a strong commitment to communication and teamwork, and the ability to work independently or within a small team. This role demands precise documentation skills, physical strength to lift and move heavy products, and basic computer proficiency. Job Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time and push racks of product that can weigh up to 3,000 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous Cargill experience
  • Previous production experience
  • Meat processing experience
  • Work history in the last 12 months

Job Duties

  • Documenting cook and chill information for HACCP and specifications
  • Ensuring food safety and quality
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures eg, Lock Out tag Out
  • Cleanliness and housekeeping
  • HACCP documents consists of 110 pages of instructional text and 45 pages of worksheets all in English
  • Verify the correct ingredients and amounts on all paperwork
  • Serve as back up to other roles within the Oven department
  • Maintain good communication and work both independently and/or with a small group of people
  • Complete hourly and daily paperwork
  • Verify that our products have been made to Cargill and customers’ requirements
  • Follow all company safety rules and regulations
