Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Ability to travel extensively including overnight stays
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Experience in sales
- Understanding of sales process and dynamics
- Competency in Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Job Qualifications
- Two years of hands-on bakery experience a plus
- Two years of prior route sales experience a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior baking industry experience highly desirable
- Experience in sales and closing sales
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Superb interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly
- Motivated to win business opportunities
Job Duties
- Responsible for the sales execution of company initiatives to promote BakeMark USA's strategy of achieving and maintaining dominant market share in the baking industry
- Identify and obtain orders for 100% of the supply needs of customers
- Travel extensively within local territory approximately 90%-100% of time with possible overnight stays
- Close sales and manage sales process dynamics
- Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with customers and suppliers
- Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet for work tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet company goals
