Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Current auto insurance
  • Ability to travel extensively including overnight stays
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Experience in sales
  • Understanding of sales process and dynamics
  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of hands-on bakery experience a plus
  • Two years of prior route sales experience a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior baking industry experience highly desirable
  • Experience in sales and closing sales
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Superb interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly
  • Motivated to win business opportunities

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the sales execution of company initiatives to promote BakeMark USA's strategy of achieving and maintaining dominant market share in the baking industry
  • Identify and obtain orders for 100% of the supply needs of customers
  • Travel extensively within local territory approximately 90%-100% of time with possible overnight stays
  • Close sales and manage sales process dynamics
  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with customers and suppliers
  • Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet for work tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet company goals
