Job Description
Invited is a premier company in the hospitality and service industry, renowned for its commitment to building meaningful relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and employees alike. Established in 1957, Invited has grown to become the largest owner and operator of private clubs across the United States, with a portfolio that encompasses over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. Each of these clubs boasts first-class amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, and world-class fitness centers, setting the gold standard for luxury and member satisfaction.
Joining Invited means becoming part of a dynamic and inclusive team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences in a vibrant atmosphere where the success of the business is driven by its people. The company stands out not only due to its scale but also because of its deeply ingrained values centered on hospitality excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
The role of an Outside Bartender at Invited is integral to maintaining the high standards for which the clubs are known. This position involves the meticulous control of beverage service, including accurate pouring, responsible management of liquor inventory, and the upkeep of a clean and organized bar environment. The bartender is expected to provide exceptional service aligned with the club's standards, ensuring that every interaction enhances the guest and member experience through the company's signature 3-steps of service.
Reporting to senior management within the Food & Beverage department, such as the Director of Food & Beverage, the Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets, the Outside Bartender plays a key operational role. Responsibilities include preparing the bar area before each shift, managing inventory, restocking supplies, and supporting fellow team members in a collaborative, efficient work environment. The position demands a professional demeanor, sharp attention to detail, strong communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to ethical work standards.
Candidates must demonstrate a sound knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including cocktails, wines, and beers, with the ability to personalize service through member recognition and proactive problem-solving. Additionally, flexibility is vital, as the role requires adapting to both indoor and outdoor work settings, standing and moving for extended periods, and occasionally handling physical tasks such as lifting or climbing.
Invited values employee well-being and professional growth, offering a comprehensive Total Rewards package. While pay depends on individual experience and location, full-time employees gain access to extensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off. This commitment to supporting the workforce helps ensure a positive and engaged team culture where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute their best.
