Job Description

Oak Street Health is a dedicated healthcare organization focused on transforming care for Medicare seniors. As a company, Oak Street Health uniquely combines compassionate care with a community-centric approach to health management, aiming to create more accessible, personalized, and high-quality care experiences for its patients. This healthcare provider emphasizes preventive care and comprehensive services to enhance the lives of older adults and ensure they remain healthy and engaged within their communities. Oak Street Health employs innovative methodologies and strong community partnerships to reach underserved populations, reinforce patient trust, and reduce the complexities often associated with healthcare systems.

The role of Outreach Executive I at Oak Street Health is pivotal in this mission. The Outreach Executive is responsible for actively engaging Medicare seniors within the community to encourage them to become patients of Oak Street Health. This role centers on building and maintaining meaningful relationships with potential patients through targeted outreach efforts and collaborative initiatives with local community organizations and insurance agents. As an Outreach Executive, you will work closely with Outreach Managers, Outreach Directors, and Community Relationship Managers to strategically grow the patient base in your assigned territory.

The position demands strong skills in sales, communication, and relationship management, focusing on generating leads, nurturing potential patients, and supporting the overall mission of Oak Street Health. This is a full-time role with an anticipated 40-hour work week and offers a competitive pay range of $18.50 to $35.29 per hour, reflecting experience, education, and geographic factors. Additionally, employees are eligible for bonuses, commissions, and short-term incentive programs, reinforcing the company’s commitment to rewarding performance.

Outreach Executives at Oak Street Health are expected to engage with Medicare seniors through various community events, cold calling, and digital lead generation channels. They must maintain thorough knowledge of marketing programs and internal sales systems, ensuring that all activities comply with company standards. Another critical aspect of the role involves serving as a point of contact for clinical and center teams regarding patient inquiries, resolving concerns promptly to foster positive patient experiences.

The ideal candidates are those who can quickly connect with people, navigate external barriers effectively to create positive experiences, and manage multiple priorities as part of a high-functioning team. Sales experience or a background in healthcare is advantageous, and multilingual capabilities in languages such as Spanish, Polish, or Russian can be a significant asset, especially for communities where these languages are commonly spoken. US work authorization is required.

Work at Oak Street Health goes beyond typical healthcare roles, encouraging employees to be part of a greater purpose—simplifying healthcare access and delivering compassionate care one individual and one family at a time. The organization champions diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered. Employees have access to a robust benefits package designed to support their physical, emotional, and financial well-being, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and wellness programs.

Joining Oak Street Health as an Outreach Executive I means becoming part of a team committed to innovation, accountability, and community impact, with plenty of opportunities to grow professionally while making a tangible difference in the lives of Medicare seniors.
