We are currently seeking a dedicated Server to join our Food and Beverage team under the supervision of the Food Hall Supervisor. The Server role primarily involves direct interaction with guests, ensuring that all their needs are met promptly and efficiently. The Server will be expected to know the casino's various facilities, special events, and local attractions to engage guests knowledgeably and provide intuitive service, especially to VIP clientele. The Server will perform essential tasks including greeting guests warmly, taking food and beverage orders, recommending menu items, serving meals according to etiquette standards, maintaining clean and well-stocked service stations, and assisting with the overall cleanliness of the dining areas. Additionally, the Server will handle payment transactions, support bussers in clearing and resetting tables, and adhere to strict sanitation standards as mandated by state law and company policies. Job Requirements

Must be able to obtain valid Food Handlers or Bassett certification
must be willing to work a flexible schedule
ability to read and write English required
must have good communication skills and maintain a friendly personable attitude
two years guest service experience in family or formal dining environment
casino food and beverage experience strongly preferred
ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
must be at least twenty-one years of age
must have ability to withstand noisy environments
must be able to stand 50 percent of shift, walk 45 percent of shift, and sit 5 percent of shift

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred
two years guest service experience in family or formal dining
casino food and beverage experience strongly preferred
good communication skills
friendly and personable attitude
ability to obtain valid Food Handlers or Bassett certification
knowledge of table service procedures and etiquette
must have valid Food Handlers Card and IGB Badge when working

Job Duties

Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose the venue for gaming entertainment
actively build and retain guest relations and mentor team members
greet each guest and provide superior guest service
maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude
complete all opening and closing duties
assist bussers in setting tables with clean dishes, glasses, and flatware
present the menu and suggest courses and drinks
offer drinks and take food and beverage orders
serve meals according to etiquette standards
check for quality after each course
refill drinks when needed
buss tables as needed
remove dirty dishes and glassware during and after each course
total bills, present checks, collect payments, and take payments to cashier
assist bussers in clearing tables
transport dish cart to and from service station
stock server stations with necessary items
assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas
resupply provisions on guest tables and venue areas
adhere to sanitation standards
maximize profit and guest satisfaction through cost controls
adhere to all three-star standards
work considerately with team members across departments
check out with supervisor before leaving shift
perform other duties as directed by management
