Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality recommended but not required
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic math skills for handling payments
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar server or food service role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Present menus, take orders, and answer questions about menu items
  • Provide recommendations and upsell specials or additional items
  • Input orders accurately into the POS system and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously
  • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Monitor table cleanliness and promptly clear dishes and utensils
  • Prepare and deliver accurate checks, handle payments, and process transactions
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup
  • Uphold a positive attitude and teamwork mentality
