Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with scheduling requirements
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Comply with hospitality service standards and regulations
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Be familiar with the organization of the restaurant, lounges, and room service
- Have thorough knowledge of menus and current specials
- Service guests with all food and beverage requirements attentively and efficiently
- Pre-bus tables by removing soiled dishes after each course
- Be familiar with the operation of the POS system
- Perform cashiering functions by closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work duties as assigned
- Ensure tables and side stands are stocked, tidy, and clean
- Keep beverages at least three quarters full
- Breakdown trays of soiled dishes and linen according to standards
- Answer the telephone according to standards
- Consistently up-sell food, beverage, and promotional items
- Be familiar with fire extinguishers and how to use them
- Receive and deliver food and beverage orders and collect payment
