Over the course of nearly 130 years, The Pfister has evolved into one of the most prestigious hotels in Milwaukee and the broader Midwest region. Recognized for its grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style, the hotel has proudly maintained its AAA Four Diamond status for 46 consecutive years. This distinction places The Pfister among an elite group of only 11 properties in North America that have held this accolade since the Diamond Rating program's inception in 1976. Guests at The Pfister enjoy an experience defined by elegance, comfort, and exceptional hospitality, making it a landmark destination for travelers seeking luxury accommodations.
The Pfister Hotel is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to join its esteemed Food & Beverage team and contribute to the ongoing legacy of excellence. This role is pivotal in managing the hotel's multiple dining outlets, including restaurants and lounges, ensuring that every guest receives a consistent and superior luxury experience. As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing operations across these varied venues, guiding outlet managers and supervisors to meet and exceed quality and service benchmarks. Your responsibilities will include integrating efforts across culinary and banquet teams to flawlessly execute hotel events, managing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and implementing cost-control measures to optimize profitability. Leadership development is a core component of this position, as you will recruit, hire, and train emerging managers within the Food & Beverage department, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Compliance with health, safety, and brand standards is critical to maintaining The Pfister's esteemed reputation, and you will play an integral role in ensuring these standards are consistently upheld. The Food & Beverage Manager position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the luxury hospitality industry. In return, The Pfister offers a welcoming work environment with access to valuable benefits such as complimentary, well-balanced meals during shifts, room discounts across Marcus Hotels & Resorts and Historic Hotels of America properties, as well as discounted access to restaurants, cafes, lounges, golfing, skiing, spa services, and parking.
Joining The Pfister means becoming part of a historic institution that prides itself on excellence and tradition in hospitality. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage professional to lead and shape high-quality guest services in a luxury hotel setting while enjoying robust support, development opportunities, and competitive benefits.
