Job Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • adhere to company rules, policies, and standards
  • perform opening tasks such as cleaning and stocking cashier work station
  • perform register closing duties including counting down register and cashier reconciliation
  • ensure proper security of register till and deposits
  • pull and stock merchandise as directed
  • collect payments and make change
  • issue receipts
  • operate POS system accurately and efficiently
  • pack purchases for customers
  • assist at adjacent work stations when needed
  • remove and rehang clothes from dressing rooms
  • remove stock from sales floor to back room
  • answer telephone and provide paging announcements
  • perform merchandise stocking duties
  • represent the company with excellent customer service
  • meet recovery and merchandising standards
  • successfully complete cashier training
  • collaborate with Workforce and Family Services
  • comply with safety and confidentiality policies
  • wear and maintain required PPE
  • comply with local, state, and federal regulations
