Dedicated to creating memorable experiences, Vinarosa Resort & Spa focuses on delivering impeccable hospitality, blending comfort with a lavish atmosphere. The resort is renowned for its exceptional service standards, commitment to quality, and attention to detail, making it a preferred choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and luxury.
The role of Host/Hostess at Vinarosa Resort & Spa is pivotal in shaping the guest experience in the resort's acclaimed dining venues. As the first and last point of contact for guests entering the restaurants and lounges, the Host/Hostess sets the tone for a welcoming, organized, and polished dining experience. This position demands a professional individual who can manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements efficiently, and maintain smooth operation flow during service. A calm demeanor combined with excellent communication skills is essential to navigate the fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional guest service.
Key responsibilities include promptly greeting guests, managing walk-in and reservation traffic, and working closely with the service team to balance seating and optimize table turns. The Host/Hostess must exhibit situational awareness by recognizing special requests and accommodating guest preferences to ensure satisfaction. Collaboration with culinary and support departments is fundamental to uphold brand standards and maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance areas. This role also involves managing guest inquiries via phone, supporting service recovery by escalating concerns, and assisting with opening and closing duties.
The Host/Hostess at Vinarosa Resort & Spa embodies professionalism in appearance and conduct, consistently following safety, sanitation, and workplace guidelines. The position supports a guest-first mindset, calm professionalism, and respect for Ensemble Hospitality's core values. This is an opportunity to contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and the overall quality of the dining experience in a premier resort setting. Candidates with prior hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and maintain composure in high-pressure situations will thrive in this role. This position requires physical stamina as it involves standing for extended periods and working flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Vinarosa Resort & Spa is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a respectful and supportive workplace for all employees.
