- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel or related field a plus
- fluent in English
- trained or certified in liquor, wine or food service a plus
- able to use computer systems
- available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- able to stand or walk for full shifts
- basic literacy and numeracy

- must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays

- willing and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed
- possess basic reading, writing and math skills
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile
- have a thorough knowledge of menus and specials in restaurant
- check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations
- monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, bar tables, stations and service areas
- quickly and accurately take guest orders
- accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives
- ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- accurately prepare meal checks and collect payments from guests including using point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift cards, room credits and vouchers
- clear, clean and reset tables as needed
- perform opening and closing procedures
- perform any other duties as requested by management
