Job Description

Marten Transport is a leading transportation company recognized for its commitment to driver satisfaction and operational excellence. As a two-time recipient of the TCA Elite Fleet award for 2025 and 2026, Marten Transport is renowned for its stable, financially independent operations and its focus on creating a driver-first culture. The company specializes in dry van and refrigerated freight transportation across the United States, offering steady and reliable miles to its professional driver workforce. Marten Transport is currently hiring CDL-A OTR Truck Drivers who seek a rewarding career with competitive earnings and extensive benefits.

The CDL-A OTR Truck Driver role at Marten Transport offers the perfect blend of high-mileage opportunities, dependable schedules, and access to modern, comfortable equipment. Drivers will operate late-model tractors equipped with advanced comfort features such as auxiliary power units (APUs), automatic transmissions, and inverters. The company supports its drivers with drop-and-hook freight assignments, minimizing wait times and maximizing time on the road. Additionally, drivers can expect potential extra pay incentives including detention, inclement weather, and layover pay, as well as an unlimited referral bonus program.

This position promises weekly earnings ranging from $1,350 to $1,750, translating into an annual earning potential between $70,200 and $91,500 or more. Marten Transport is proud to offer guaranteed minimum pay, health, dental and vision insurance options, and a comprehensive lifeworks program designed to support mental health, parenting, education, financial stability, and legal needs. Drivers also benefit from a 401(k) company-matched retirement plan, free CPAP testing and supplies, and a pet-friendly policy that allows bringing companions on the road.

Additional perks include a free rider program so drivers can share their journeys, a hiring bonus, paid time off (PTO), an employee discount program, disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts to prepare for medical expenses. The company also provides company-paid life insurance and actively promotes a positive work environment that values each driver’s wellbeing and professional growth. Marten Transport is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair hiring practices and considers qualified applicants regardless of arrest or conviction history in accordance with local and federal regulations.

Joining Marten Transport means becoming part of a dependable fleet that prioritizes driver comfort, safety, and career longevity. Drivers who thrive in a structured, supportive environment and wish to maximize their earnings and work-life balance will find an ideal match with this opportunity. If you hold a valid CDL-A and have at least six months of recent OTR experience with one carrier, you are encouraged to apply for a fulfilling career with one of the most respected names in the trucking industry.
