Job Description

System Transport is a reputable and well-established transportation company specializing in flatbed trucking services across the Western region of the United States. Known for its commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism, System Transport has grown significantly to become a leading player in the logistics and freight industry. The company focuses on transporting a wide range of goods including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals, ensuring timely and secure delivery for clients. With a strong reputation for providing excellent driver support and competitive compensation, System Transport continues to attract experienced drivers seeking long-term employment opportunities with an emphasis on safety, earning potential, and career growth.

System Transport is currently hiring experienced OTR (Over-The-Road) Flatbed CDL-A Drivers. This full-time employment opportunity offers competitive pay ranging from $46,956 to $82,940 annually, depending on experience, routes, and attendance. Drivers enjoy a comprehensive pay package, which includes base pay per mile ranging from $0.52 to $0.66, in addition to accessorial pay such as tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay when applicable. The company also provides paid orientation hosted in Spokane, Washington, covering airfare, accommodation, and meals during training to ensure drivers are well-prepared before starting on the road.

In this role, drivers are responsible for securing and transporting flatbed loads with utmost safety and efficiency. System Transport places a strong emphasis on promoting a safe driving culture and offers a wide range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long and short-term disability, health savings account options, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and an employee assistance program. Additionally, drivers accrue paid time off (PTO) and sick leave based on hours worked and years of service. System Transport also offers a $1,800 transition package to support new drivers joining the team.

While pets are not allowed, the company does have a guest rider policy permitting riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving, enhancing the driver’s work-life balance. The job requires physical capability to handle equipment like lifting a 90-pound tarp onto elevated platforms during loading and unloading procedures. This requirement ensures the driver’s ability to maintain safety standards and proper load handling.
