The company’s reputation is built on delivering high-quality food products to millions of consumers nationwide, supported by a dedicated workforce and a commitment to sustainable and responsible operations. Tyson Foods fosters a corporate culture centered around integrity, respect, and operational excellence, ensuring that every team member is empowered and supported to contribute towards the company’s success and growth.
This position is for CDL-A Solo Truck Drivers who will be integral to Tyson Foods’ logistics and supply chain operations. As a CDL-A driver, you will play a critical role in safely transporting Tyson Foods products from production facilities to distribution centers and customer locations. The role requires operating tractor-trailer combinations with refrigerated trailers, maintaining optimal temperatures to ensure product quality and safety during transit. Drivers are the face of Tyson Foods on the road, embodying professionalism, safety, and dependability at all times. This position offers a highly competitive pay range of $1,250 to $2,000 per week, reflecting the company’s dedication to recognizing and rewarding the hard work and commitment of its drivers.
The job offers flexible home time, consistent freight, and dependable miles, making it an appealing opportunity for those seeking stability and rewarding employment within a major national food supplier. Additional benefits include a tenure incentive, paid time off, a new pay package, and comprehensive medical coverage beginning on the first day of employment. Tyson Foods also provides a robust support system with telemedicine services, mental health resources, life and disability insurance, and family-building assistance such as fertility coverage and adoption support. Drivers will experience a supportive and safety-focused work environment enhanced by drop pay for all deliveries, safety bonuses, and no-touch freight assignments, which minimize physical labor and improve overall job satisfaction.
Tyson Foods prioritizes professional development, offering tuition assistance of up to $5,250 annually and opportunities for certifications, language courses, and other career advancement programs. The company also encourages long-term career growth with a 401(k) plan featuring company match after one year of service and a company matching stock purchase plan. Drivers are supplied with assigned trucks, ensuring reliable and well-maintained equipment for all routes. Moreover, Tyson Foods’ compensation package includes a third week of vacation at the five-year anniversary milestone, underscoring the company’s commitment to employee wellbeing and work-life balance.
This role is ideal for experienced CDL-A drivers who value safety, reliability, and the chance to work with a leading organization renowned for its product quality and employee care. The role demands excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain rigorous safety standards consistently. Tyson Foods offers a career path with stability, competitive compensation, and extensive benefits designed to support drivers and their families at every stage of life.
