Job Requirements
- valid CDL-A
- minimum 9 months of experience in the last 24 months including snow and ice driving in major cities
- no terminations in the past 12 months
- no DWIs in the past 5 years
- no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- pass pre-employment DOT physical drug screens and human performance evaluation
- no preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years
- no NYC or Canada routes
Job Qualifications
- valid CDL-A license
- minimum 9 months of driving experience in the last 24 months
- experience driving in snow and ice conditions in major cities
- clean employment record with no terminations in the past 12 months
- ability to pass DOT physical, drug screens, and human performance evaluations
- good driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- no preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years
- no DWI violations in the past 5 years
- familiarity with electronic logging devices and mobile load management applications
Job Duties
- operate commercial vehicles safely across long-haul routes
- ensure timely delivery of freight with 100% no-touch freight handling
- maintain communication with dispatch and management
- monitor vehicle condition and perform routine inspections
- adhere to DOT regulations and company policies
- use technology for load tracking and paperwork submission
- manage route logistics including scheduling and rest periods
