The OTR (Over-the-Road) CDL A Driver position within Blackhawk's Flatbed Fleet is designed for those who are eager to see the country while earning a stable and impressive income. Drivers can expect to be on the road for about four weeks at a time, with flexible home time arrangements available with proper notice. This flexibility helps drivers maintain a healthy work-life balance, which is a cornerstone of Blackhawk's driver-first culture. The pay structure is mileage-based, starting at .65 cents per mile and increasing to .67 cents after one year of service. Drivers typically average at least 2,900 miles per week, maximizing earning potential. Additionally, intermediate stop pay is provided, and there are numerous opportunities for bonuses including safety, referral, and inspection incentives.
